Do you supply the plate or do I send material?
Both arrangements are workable. Tell us whether you are supplying material or want it sourced, because it changes lead time and how the job is quoted.
Can you cut weld preparation bevels?
Bevel preparation can be planned as part of the cutting scope. Mention the weld prep requirement with the drawing so it is priced and set up correctly the first time.
How do I estimate weight before sending a drawing?
Use the MS plate weight calculator on this site to get length x width x thickness weight in kg and MT. It is a planning aid, so a firm quote still needs the drawing and grade.
