Describe the assembly.
State whether the work is a platform, frame, support, skid, building steel or another fabricated structure.
Enquiry checklist
Share the details that affect fabrication, inspection and delivery before comparing prices.

Prepare the request
You do not need a perfect tender package to start a conversation. But a drawing revision, approximate quantity, material specification, finish and delivery location make it much easier to identify the real scope and any missing decisions.
Six essentials
Copy this list into your RFQ email or use it as a final check before you send the drawings.
State whether the work is a platform, frame, support, skid, building steel or another fabricated structure.
Include GA and detail drawings, BOQ if available, and any site interface dimensions.
List material grades, plate thicknesses, section sizes and whether material procurement is in the supplier’s scope.
Clarify cutting, drilling, welding, trial fit, machining, bought-out items and installation responsibilities.
Include inspection, documentation, surface preparation, coating and any project-specific specification.
State required quantity or tonnage, delivery address, target date, packing and unloading constraints.
